The Evoluthys logo is the Nautilus Pompilius. The spiral pattern of the Nautilus shell, a living fossil, which incorporates the Golden Ratio"(1 + √ 5) / 2", also represented by the Greek letter Φ (Phi), is a ratio equal to 1:6180339. This logarithmic spiral is based on an irrational number with no arithmetical solution, which also applies pretty well to human beings. It is the simplest and most perfect of exponential growth processes in living creatures, including humans, as well as minerals, plants and animals. The number sequence continues indefinitely, never repeating itself. The Golden Ratio is an expression of beauty, order and harmony. The unique quality of the Golden Ratio is that it is found in all living things, including the human skeleton, seashells, and in the arrangement of sunflower seeds. The British physicist, Sir Edward Appleton, considered this value to be "The key to the physical universe".
The Golden Ratio and its resulting spiral pattern, and the Fibonacci sequence, which is closely linked to it, is widely found in art, architecture and religious symbols. Artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Le Corbusier and Dali have used the Golden Ratio in their art.
Nature itself has a predilection for this Golden Number, as it appears in many examples of living things, such as pine cones, daisies, pineapples, sunflowers, cacti, starfish, galaxies, cyclones, and mollusc shells, such as the Nautilus.
The Nautilus logo is symbolic of a process of continuous development and sustainability for those of all ages and at all levels of experience. It represents the real mission of Evoluthys: the constant evolution of human individuals towards growth and success.
